South Charlotte T piles up the points against Forsyth Home Educators

Recap: South Charlotte T Thunder vs. Forsyth Home Educators Hawks

The South Charlotte T Thunder had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They claimed a resounding 71-40 win over Forsyth Home Educators at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Charlotte T to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaron Hill, who scored 17 points along with five assists. Luke Rullo was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.

Despite the loss, Forsyth Home Educators saw an underclassman step up: Baylin Clodfelter scored 11 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Holley, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.

South Charlotte T now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Forsyth Home Educators, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

South Charlotte T won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Surry HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on January 13th. One thing working in Surry HomeSchool's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they will be playing at home against Greater Vision Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Greater Vision Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Monday.
