After flying high against Fort Mill last Monday, Clover came back down to earth. The Clover Blue Eagles took a blow against the Northwestern Trojans on Friday, falling 57-23. Finley Polk was his usual excellent self, throwing for 319 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 63 yards and three touchdowns for Northwestern. Polk is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Jayden Nichols was in the mix as well, providing Northwestern with two touchdowns.

As for Northwestern, they will face off against Fort Mill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Fort Mill: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Northwestern has snatched up nine consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
