The Tom Bean Tomcats will challenge the Tioga Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tom Bean will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Tom Bean is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Whitewright 69-6. Surprisingly, this marked the Tomcats' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

It was another big night for Donnie Hooten, who threw for 421 yards and six touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 46 yards and a pair of scores. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. Tom Bean's leading receiver Brayden Bomar was Hooten's top target yet again, picking up 107 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Tom Bean didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dyson Farris and Chase Stratton. Tom Bean got some further help from Tatum Hanson: he picked up a sack and made 23 total tackles.
Meanwhile, while Tioga put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Trenton. The Bulldogs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 72-0 victory over the Tigers. The Bulldogs have beaten the Tigers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.
Tom Bean better keep an eye on Greeley McAden. He was instrumental in Tioga's win, throwing for 481 yards and eight touchdowns while completing 92% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Jaxson Hurst was another key player, picking up 144 receiving yards and three TDs.
The win got Tioga back to even at 2-2. As for Tom Bean, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
The upcoming contest will be a clash of competing strengths. Tom Bean has relied on air attacks this season and has averaged 350 passing yards per game. Tioga, on the other hand, has relied on a stout run game: they average 186.5 rushing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
