Soccer Recap: Eastern Randolph Takes a Loss

Eastern Randolph managed to keep up with Southwestern Randolph until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats lost 5-0 to the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Southwestern Randolph this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Eastern Randolph is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-15-1. As for Southwestern Randolph, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastern Randolph is set to square off against their familiar foe Uwharrie Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Southwestern Randolph will challenge rival Jordan-Matthews at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
