Basketball Recap: Walther Christian Academy Broncos vs. Holy Trinity Tigers
Make it nine blowout wins for the Walther Christian Academy Broncos this season. They blew past Holy Trinity 52-20 at home on Monday. Walther Christian Academy pushed the score to 42-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had little chance of recovering from.
Walther Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Saniyya Harvey, who scored 15 points along with five assists and three steals. Harvey has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Rivera, who scored 12 points along with seven assists.
Walther Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-13 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.4 points. As for Holy Trinity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
