Southlake Carroll finds playoff glory versus Frenship

Recap: Southlake Carroll Dragons vs. Frenship Tigers

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Southlake Carroll Dragons walked away with it. They blew past the Tigers 49-14 on the road. Southlake Carroll might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 11 matches by 25 points or more this season.

Riley Wormley was a one-man wrecking crew for Southlake Carroll as he rushed for 153 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries. Wormley is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Davis Penn was another key contributor, rushing for 51 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.

Frenship's lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chase Campbell, who picked up 167 receiving yards.

The victory was the third in a row for Southlake Carroll, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 56 points. As for Frenship, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Southlake Carroll will square off against Highland Park at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Highland Park will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Frenship does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
