Basketball Recap: Conant Takes a Loss

Conant was the 34-33 winner over Fall Mountain when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Conant Orioles had to suffer through a 57-14 loss at the hands of the Fall Mountain Wildcats. The matchup marked the Orioles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Conant and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Fall Mountain, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

While Conant had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
