Basketball Game Preview: Campbell Indians vs. Ector Eagles

Campbell and Ector are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Campbell Indians will square off against the Ector Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Campbell has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with six straight defeats, while Ector will come in with three straight victories.

Campbell came up short against Fannindel on Friday, falling 66-41.

Meanwhile, Ector hadn't done well against Dodd City recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Ector secured a 33-28 W over Dodd City.

Ector has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Campbell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-19.

Campbell didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Ector when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 46-42 win. Does Campbell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ector turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
