Volleyball Recap: Myrtle Beach Comes Up Short

Myrtle Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Myrtle Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for North Myrtle Beach, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

Myrtle Beach has already played their next game (against South Florence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Myrtle Beach, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. James on the 20th.
