Devany Alferez Game Report: vs Dana Hills

Los Altos was sadly handed a defeat on Saturday, but Devany Alferez did her best to prevent it. Alferez produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Alferez and Los Altos will face off against Fullerton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Fullerton will enter the matchup having just beaten Mater Dei, so Los Altos will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
