Baseball Recap: Windham Gets the Win

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Windham ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 12-9 win over the Portland Bulldogs. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Ryan Manning was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sullivan Nappi, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

The victory got Windham back to even at 2-2. As for Portland, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
