While Excel Christian Academy's win against Champions Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans had just enough and edged out the Lions 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Excel Christian Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Champions Christian Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a 11-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 19-25, 23-25, 15-4.

Excel Christian Academy's record now sits at 3-5. As for Champions Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
