Soccer Recap: Bishop Lynch Takes a Loss

Bishop Lynch was the 2-0 winner over John Paul II when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bishop Lynch Friars fell just short of the John Paul II Cardinals by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The shutout was out of character for the Friars seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Bishop Lynch and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for John Paul II, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Prestonwood Christian the next time they take the pitch. John Paul II will host Prestonwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Bishop Lynch will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
