Volleyball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Kenosha Tremper hadn't done well against Racine Horlick recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rebels. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Rebels two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 22-25, 25-17, 25-18.

Braden Snyder paced Kenosha Tremper's offense, picking up 16 kills. Snyder got some help from Connor Sporer and his 40 assists. Snyder was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Kenosha Tremper is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Racine Horlick, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kenosha Tremper will challenge rival Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Racine Horlick is set to face off against their familiar foe Indian Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
