Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mildred). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 80-42 stomp they got against the Abbott Panthers. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 52 points per game.

Mildred had a senior duo take command as Brennan Moore dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds and Ashton Moore dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists. Brennan is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Harper, who posted nine points and five steals.

Mildred smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive contests.

Mildred is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points per game. As for Abbott, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.
