Volleyball Recap: St. Andrew's Episcopal Takes a Loss

St. Andrew's Episcopal lost against Madison-Ridgeland Academy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Saints fell 2-0 to the Patriots. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy was led to victory by Keira Hariel and Emerson Dorr. Hariel had 18 assists and five aces, while Dorr hit 75% for nine kills and seven aces and six digs. That's the most aces Dorr has posted over her last seven games.

St. Andrew's Episcopal now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, St. Andrew's Episcopal and Madison-Ridgeland Academy will both be playing Newton County the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Saints will play them later in the day, at 10:00 p.m.
