Recap: Northside Christian Academy Knights vs. Weddington Warriors        
        
		
            
 The Northside Christian Academy Knights pushed their score all the way to 65 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Weddington by a score of  68-65. Northside Christian Academy has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Northside Christian Academy's loss  came despite strong showings from  Kyrell Shaw and  Arael Jones.  Shaw  scored 28 points, while  Jones  scored 19 points along with three  steals. The  matchup was  Shaw's 14th in a row with at least ten points.  KJ Shouse  was another key contributor,  scoring five points.
 Leading Weddington to victory were  KJ Younger and  Grant Hamilton.  Younger  scored 19 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals, while  Hamilton  scored 29 points along with six  rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which  Hamilton has scored at least 25% of Weddington's points. Another player making a difference was  Aidan Cook, who  scored seven points along with seven  assists.
 Northside Christian Academy has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Weddington, the  win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
 Northside Christian Academy is on the road again  on Friday and play against Carmel Christian at 12:30  p.m.  on December 22nd. One thing working in Carmel Christian's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last ten matchups. Weddington won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Lake Norman at 6:30  p.m.  on December 22nd. Lake Norman is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
