Softball Recap: Berean Christian Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

It's playoff time, and Berean Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a run and slipped past the Salesian College Preparatory Pride 6-5. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four contests in a row.

Berean Christian let Alissa Jones and Leila Rhoads run wild. Jones went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Rhoads went 1-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Another player making a difference was Olivia Kundysek, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Berean Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Berean Christian's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Salesian College Preparatory, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

As of now, neither Berean Christian nor the Pride have any future games scheduled.
