Baseball Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

Iroquois and Amherst Central squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Iroquois had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 6-4. The Redhawks have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Iroquois' defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Amherst Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Iroquois does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Amherst Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-0 win against Dunkirk on the 31st.
