Basketball Recap: Alta Loma Takes a Loss

Alta Loma fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Colony on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 66-58 to the Colony Titans. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 49-44.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Colony to victory, but perhaps none more so than Desmond Flanagan, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 24 points and six boards. Those 24 points gave Flanagan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Terron Grant, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.

Alta Loma's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Colony, they pushed their record up to 10-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Alta Loma nor Colony have any future games scheduled.
