Softball Recap: Forest Lake Extends Winning Streak to Four

Forest Lake had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Park on Friday. The Rangers blew past the Wolfpack 10-2. The match marked the Rangers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Karianne Drury was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Isabella Dowdall was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Forest Lake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The win keeps Forest Lake at an undefeated 4-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average this season. As for Park, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
