Penn never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies. Considering the Kingsmen have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Olivia Signorino tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Ava Zachary was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Logan Rumble was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

Penn was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.

Penn pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Penn will head out to take on Lakeshore at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they will challenge Concord at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
