Volleyball Game Preview: Christian Brothers Academy Colts vs. Howell Rebels

The Christian Brothers Academy Colts will square off against the Howell Rebels at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Christian Brothers Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Middletown South and fell 2-1. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Christian Brothers Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 21-25, 25-23.

Christian Brothers Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from Will Cusat, who had 12 digs and three assists. Nick Codispoti also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Meanwhile, Howell came up short against St. John-Vianney on Wednesday and fell 2-0.
