Antwerp and Paulding are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2016, but not for long. The Archers are taking a road trip to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Antwerp and Ayersville meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Archers fell 20-15 to the Pilots.

Meanwhile, Paulding put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 36-10 margin over Tinora. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six games by 26 points or more so far this season.

Paulding's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Antwerp, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Antwerp was dealt a bruising 46-6 loss at the hands of Paulding when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Archers were down 34-0.
