Soccer Game Preview: Garland vs. Rowlett

Garland is 0-10 against Rowlett since March of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Garland challenge the Rowlett at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Garland who was credited with the victory on Saturday. Garland got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to South Garland's two. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Rowlett took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Naaman Forest with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Rowlett pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five contests. As for Garland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
