Basketball Game Preview: Germantown Red Devils vs. Collierville Dragons

The Germantown Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Collierville Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Germantown will be strutting in after a win while Collierville will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Germantown turned things around against Bluff City on Friday. Everything went their way against the Gray Wolves as they made off with a 68-44 victory. The Red Devils pushed the score to 59-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Gray Wolves cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Collierville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 70-66 to Obion County.

Germantown's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Collierville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Germantown didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Collierville in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 58-54 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Germantown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
