Volleyball Recap: Maywood CES Takes a Loss

Maywood CES suffered their biggest loss since October 17, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against the Taft Toreadors, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolfpack of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Maywood CES' loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Taft, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 20-10 record.

Maywood CES wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Bassett on the 27th. As for Taft, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Marshall on the 27th.
