Baseball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Warren and Meadville meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Dragons took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Warren saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Felix Valencia, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Meadville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Warren will be playing at home against Union at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Meadville, they will face off against Erie at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
