Pueblo Centennial unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palmer Terrors on Thursday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Terrors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, 20-25, 25-15.

Emily Brunner paced Pueblo Centennial's offense, picking up four kills. Brunner got some help from Sierra Montoya and her ten assists. Montoya was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The win (which was Palmer's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
