Volleyball Recap: Liberty Tree Academy Takes a Loss

Liberty Tree Academy lost against Bethune back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The War Eagles fell 2-0 to the Bobcats. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty Tree Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23.

Liberty Tree Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Liberty Tree Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Miami-Yoder at 4:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Bethune, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Antonito on the 23rd.
