It was fun while it lasted, but Woodland's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Saturday. They took a hard 71-56 fall against the Central Tigers. The loss put an end to the Cardinals' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Woodland fell to 8-1. As for Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Woodland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 81-76 win against Scott City on the 30th. Central has also already played their next game, a 50-41 loss against Jackson on the 30th.
