Haysville Campus entered their tilt with Maize South on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Mavericks get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 on Tuesday.

Haysville Campus' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Maize South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Haysville Campus is set to challenge their familiar foe Maize at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Colts 3.6, the Eagles 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Maize South will take on rival South at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
