Basketball Recap: Angus Wilson Key Part of Team Effort in Vikings Win

The Lakeside Vikings beat The Weber School Rams 59-48 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Lakeside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angus Wilson, who posted ten points along with five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Josh Mosley, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 16 points.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for The Weber School, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Lakeside is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Fellowship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Paladins have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for The Weber School, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
