Softball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short at Home Against Duarte

Polytechnic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-9 to the Duarte Falcons on Tuesday.

Eila Chan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Brynn Connolly was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Duarte now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Polytechnic will be playing at home against Brentwood School at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Duarte, they will head out on the road to challenge Glendora at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
