Basketball Recap: Canton Central Catholic Takes a Loss

If Canton Central Catholic was feeling good fresh off their 81-44 takedown of Manchester last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Canton Central Catholic Crusaders fell to the Tuslaw Mustangs 57-51. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Tuslaw's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Destiny Dulkoski led the charge by going 7 of 11 to rack up 18 points and six rebounds. Malia Mizeres was another key player, going 6 for 10 en route to 19 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Canton Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Tuslaw, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Canton Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-48 victory against Marlington on the 5th. As for Tuslaw, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-17 win against Manchester on the 5th.
