Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (67), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Newberry lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Destiny Neal, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.2 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Brandy Whitfield, who posted 29 points.
