Basketball Recap: Salado Takes a Loss

Salado had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Marble Falls and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Salado Eagles fell 63-50 to the Marble Falls Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Salado's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Marble Falls, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salado will take on Jarrell at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marble Falls, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gateway College Preparatory at 6:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
