Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Prep Lions vs. Peachtree Academy Panthers

The Trinity Prep Lions will square off against the Peachtree Academy Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trinity Prep is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 19-7 to Peoples Baptist Academy. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 6-1 in the first period.

Levi Barrelle was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-1. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Shoemaker, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Peachtree Academy duked it out with Loganville Christian Academy on Friday. Peachtree Academy came up short against Loganville Christian Academy, falling 16-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered against the Lions since February 27, 2018.

Trinity Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Peachtree Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.
