While Midland put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Dow. The Chemics put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 12-0 win. The Chemics might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Midland's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-3-1. As for Dow, they moved to 10-3 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Midland has already played their next match, a 9-8 win against Grand Haven on the 17th. As for Dow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-2 loss against Standish-Sterling on the 17th.
