It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Caleb Cox came into the matchup on a mission. He wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with one or fewer earned runs.
