Soccer Game Preview: Whitewater vs. Landmark Christian

The Whitewater Wildcats will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Landmark Christian War Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Whitewater is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against McIntosh last Friday. Whitewater fell just short of McIntosh by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Emily Hoellrich, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Landmark Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 4-1 to Locust Grove on February 7th. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the War Eagles were already down 4-0.
