Basketball Game Preview: Parowan Rams vs. South Summit Wildcats

The Parowan Rams will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the South Summit Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Parowan is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Gunnison Valley. The Rams narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bulldogs 49-47. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, South Summit gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They skirted past Rowland Hall 72-69.

Parowan better keep an eye on Maddox Welch. He was instrumental in South Summit's win, putting up 26 points. Those 26 points gave Welch a new career-high. Blake Osguthorpe was another key player, posting 16 points.
