Baseball Recap: Elton Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elton). They had just enough and edged out the V.B. Glencoe Charter Gators 13-12. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by just one run.

Elton's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elton will square off against Singer at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Elton is facing Singer at the right time seeing as Singer is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, they will face off against Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Franklin will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something V.B. Glencoe Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
