Baseball Recap: Smoky Hill Takes a Loss

Smoky Hill fell victim to Arapahoe and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 14-0 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Buffaloes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Smoky Hill has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Arapahoe, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Smoky Hill will look to defend their home field on Monday against Mullen at 4:15 p.m. Arapahoe will be paying especially close attention to the Buffaloes' game: after the Buffaloes face off against the Mustangs, they'll take on Arapahoe again at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
