Colony strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Soldotna Stars with a sharp 5-1 victory. Considering Colony have won five games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Colony pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those seven contests. As for Soldotna, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colony will welcome Chugiak at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Soldotna, they will host Nikiski at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Soldotna's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
