Basketball Recap: Kingsburg Takes a Loss

Kingsburg was the 54-33 winner over Exeter when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Kingsburg Vikings fell to the Exeter Monarchs 41-35.

Exeter's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kylie Dias, who posted ten points and five steals. That's the most steals Dias has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Xcaret Hunter, who had nine points.

Kingsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Exeter, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Kingsburg will be playing at home against Washington Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Exeter, they will head out on the road to take on Hanford West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hanford West's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
