West Ashley won the last time they faced Summerville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats never let the Green Wave get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Given West Ashley's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked tenth, while Summerville are ranked 53rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Ashley's offense was hitting Summerville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sophia Trio led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory made it two in a row for West Ashley and bumps their season record up to 10-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Summerville, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5-1.
