Volleyball Recap: Wilder Wildcats vs. Liberty Charter Patriots
Wilder was the 3-0 winner over Liberty Charter when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Wilder was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Liberty Charter work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 23-25, 26-24, 15-7.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nancy Ramirez, who had 29 digs, seven kills, and two aces. Ramirez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kylie Luna, who had 18 digs, eight kills, and four aces.
Wilder's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Liberty Charter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-12.
