Volleyball Recap: Badin Starts off Right with Win over Mason

Badin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mason Comets, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Comets: they've now won three in a row.

Badin took Mason into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 25-23, 22-25, 15-10.

Mason's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Badin will square off against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mason, they will head out on the road to take on Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
