Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Calvary Christian Academy faced off against Port St. Lucie on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Calvary Christian Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Port St. Lucie work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-12, 25-19.

Calvary Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Calvary Christian Academy will take on Halifax Academy in a tournament on Friday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will venture away from home to square off against Treasure Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
